I really love printables for the home. They are one of the easiest ways to decorate. They are inexpensive, and on trend, making it easy to keep your home updated without spending a lot of cash.
Chances are, we all have an old frame or two around the house. You can even reuse a frame that is currently holding a picture you don’t like anymore. Pop out the old picture and give the glass a good cleaning. Everything looks better through clean glass.
If your old frames are looking a little, old and worn, give them a fresh coat of paint. Frames are easy to paint and dry quickly, so you have plenty of time to spruce them up before the in-laws arrive.
Print off the printable at home. You can use photo paper if you want to, but it’s not necessary. Most will look great on plain old copy paper. Put in the new printable and find the perfect spot. Printables really do take all the work out of décor.
Printables also make great neighbor gifts. You can find simple frames at the dollar store and then peruse through the hundreds of printable available online. Most printables are easy to scale down to frame as a 4×6 or 5×7 if you need to. You can spruce up your frames with a little spray paint, or leave them as they are. Wrap it up with a little ribbon and you’re set with the perfect gift for neighbors, coworkers, or teachers.
Here’s 10 of my favorite holiday printables for the home this year.
Don’t feel like you have to choose just one. Make a big printable framed in the entry, maybe one or two on the mantel and cute 4×6 prints work perfectly on the bathroom counter. You can even keep a printable or two in your bedroom to add a little festive décor there as well and don’t forget to spruce up the guest rooms! With a few clicks of the mouse your home will be brimming with Christmas cheer!
